At the former site of the space-themed amusement park “Space World,” an outlet mall was created with the project concept of “Meet Amazing Emotion,” aiming to stimulate the emotions of everyone, from adults to children, creating a place full of heartwarming reactions.

The landscape design treated the entire outlet mall as a playground, developing various playful spaces. Inspired by the site’s history as a place where people “traveled through space,” the playground theme was “Planet Park,” featuring mounds and ponds to evoke a return to Earth from space. This approach moved away from the traditional design of outlet mall commercial facilities, which prioritized smooth navigation to each tenant and clearly defined spaces for shopping and lingering. Instead, it aimed for a design where transit and stay areas blended into a series of plaza-like spaces, fostering a mix of diverse activities.
