We are pleased to announce that our project “Motomachi Parklet” received a design award from Yokohama city, ‘the 10th Yokohama-Hito-Machi Design Award’ in the cityscape section.
In 2020, we converted part of the roadway and parking spaces into three “Parklets” for pedestrians on Motomachi Shopping Street in Yokohama, integrating benches and plantings. This development creates a comfortable places for pedestrians to spend time and creates a sense of relaxation and liveliness for shoppers.
